Silux was created to provide a classy, feminine ring option to women who cannot wear their metal rings due to weight fluctuations, hobbies, or workplace safety issues.

While juggling a full-time course load and her job as a registered pharmacy technician, Tatem came up with her first designer silicone ring right in her own kitchen. The idea struck her after seeing a pregnant coworker put her baby at risk for birth defects when her engagement ring tore through a glove while handling a dangerous medication. Tatem believed that no mother should have to go through this feeling again.

After posting a couple viral videos on TikTok about her idea to make high-end silicone rings, Tatem realized how many people resonated with the issue. That's when she started designing her line of luxury silicone rings.

Now she has plans to expand her company worldwide to help women feel beautiful while achieving their goals.
